TURPENTIN
Gum Turpentine / Turpentine oil from Indonesia is traditionally used as a solvent or cleaning agent for paints and varnishes which is still common today. There are also some special uses, in the pharmaceutical industry. Alpha Pinene and Beta Pinene, are the two main chemical components of Turpentine Oil.
Most of the turpentine oil from Indonesia today, is used as a source of chemical isolates which are then converted into various products. Many of these, including the largest single turpentine derivative, synthetic pine oil, are used for aroma and flavor applications, although there are also many important non-aromatic applications such as polyterpene resins. Pine oil is used in disinfectants, cleaning agents, and other products that smell “pine”.
Gum Turpentine / Turpentine Oil is an essential oil distilled from pine mercury resin at our production unit in Pekalongan, about 440 km from Jakarta, Indonesia.
Gum Turpentine / Turpentine Oil is used for
Thinners, Varnishes, Chemicals, Fragrances, Camphor etc.
